MidiAccess is a 1-in, 5-out MIDI Thru box, packaged into a 6HP Eurorack module.
The front panel has 1 DIN-format MIDI input and 2 DIN-format MIDI outputs; on the rear of the module there are three 2-pin headers that can provide behind-the-scenes MIDI to other modules in our range (at the moment, that’s just StringTheory, but we have a couple of others in the pipeline – a MIDI/CV Master Clock, MIDI to CV gates/triggers module and an expansion for MidiAccess that will add 3.5mm outputs in both mainstream formats).
This module continues to deliver our design approach of putting a 2-pin header on the back of every MIDI-enabled module that we make, so that you can bury all that pesky MIDI connectivity away inside your modular case if you want to. The front-panel DINs mean that you can also interface to other full-fat MIDI modules in your rack or to external gear.
The full kit includes a 20cm 16-way power/bus connector, 3 x 20cm 2-way jumper cables for connecting to other modules and 2 x M3/8mm screws for racking (these are also included with the assembled version).
